Frank Miller’s Holy Terror – Graphic Novel

During SDCC 2011, Frank Miller (this guy don’t need no intro in the comic book world) announced his new no-holds-barred graphic novel, Holy Terror, published by Legendary Comics.

After 9-11, Frank Miller, the vigilante that he is, wanted to take on Al-Qaeda right there and then.  This was originally going to be a “Batman fights Al-Qaeda” comic, but perhaps DC didn’t want the controversy.

According to Miller:

It’s no longer a DC book. I decided partway through it that it was not a Batman story. The hero is much closer to ‘Dirty Harry‘ than Batman. It’s a new hero that I’ve made up that fights Al Qaeda.

Coming September 2011.
